First things first, congratulations on looking for some writing resources, that is a huge step! Below you will find a collection of resources that grew from my undergraduate and graduate studies -- think of it like my treasure box that I am sharing with all of you! Here you will find Owl Purdue's process of pre-writing. They discuss what prior knowledge you should have, as well as when to begin the formal writing process!
Thesis StatementsThe thesis statement is the general argument which tells the reader "hey this is what you will spend the next 6-10 pages reading about. Oh and this is how I will tell it!" Suffice to say, it is a very important part of your paper. Here are some resources for refining your practice of the thesis statement!
